IICI is pleased to announce a brand new course on investigating drone attacks. The course is designed to provide specialist knowledge and skills to allow participants to identify, collect and utilise evidence in relation to drone attacks as part of a broader investigation into war crimes. The course will comprise a mixture of presentations and practical case studies/demonstrations, led by drone experts from Cranfield University and trainers from the Institute for International Criminal Investigations (IICI). The course will take place at the UK Defence Academy at Shrivenham, UK. Topics will include relevant aspects of international law, drone weaponry and effects, targeting, drone technology, sanctions breaches and component export controls. Participants will also have the chance to visit the Shrivenham Defence Academy’s unique weaponry museum. Please note that participation will require a basic level UK government security clearance to access the venue. This will be facilitated for all successful applicants but in order to do so, applications will need to be submitted by 25 April 2025. Please go to the course page to apply Drone Strikes Course - IICI
