Publication of additional Murad Code Project tools & other resources

IICI has published several practical tools, videos and other resources as part of the Murad Code Project since the end of January 2026. Some are addressed to investigators and other practitioners (including funders and governmental policy-makers), and others are addressed to and have been co-created with survivors of SCRSV. Several of the publications are available in multiple languages. The resources are:

• Putting the Murad Code into Practice: A Guide for Funders (English and French)
• Discussion document: Briefing Note on Different Kinds of Harms Caused by Information-Gathering and Use About SCRSV If It Is Not Survivor-Centred or Effective
• Discussion Document: Briefing Note on Drivers of Harmful Practices in the Gathering and Use of Information about SCRSV
• A Briefing Note for Human Rights Council Delegates: How States Can Facilitate Effective and Survivor-Centred Human Rights Investigations (English and French)
• a set of short videos by a criminal and human rights investigator, addressed to other investigators, on the practical value of the Murad Code's minimum standards
• a set of short videos addressed to media practitioners, with cross-disciplinary insights on ethics, storytelling and survivor engagement.
